Testimonials
“When we started our renovation on our house, our dealings with Myles were absolutely professional. He kept us well informed throughout and was more than happy to offer advice and make sure that we got the result we wanted. He took great care with all of the aspects of our renovation and ensured the worksite was always tidy and safe, this was really important to us with our active daughter running around! The kitchen and new living area are wonderful and we often receive compliments on the result.”

“We have employed Cosgrove Construction for several building jobs on our own house and also on our residential rental properties. We first used them to complete a major renovation of our house which involved lowering the ceiling, adding a new bathroom and bedroom to our 100 year old house. Myles estimated the job to be completed in 60 days. Despite extreme weather during the job, it was completed in 63 days and more importantly, on budget. The work quality was fantastic and Myles made the entire process very easy. We have always found Myles and his team to be totally professional and always willing to be flexible with design changes. In addition, Myles has put forward some great ideas for improvements based on his experience which we have incorporated.”

“We undertook extensive renovations to our home, practically rebuilding the entire structure and found Cosgrove Construction very easy to deal with throughout the whole experience. In addition CCL easily met our objectives for a timely, high quality outcome, strictly in keeping with the existing character of the house - we're delighted clients!”

“Our cottage was very small and when we decided to renovate it was very important to have a good job done which was sympathetic to the house. The new addition not only looks like it was always part of the house, but Myles’ attention to detail has been terrific and we have got the result we wanted with the finished addition better than the original. We would definitely use Cosgrove Construction again.”

"Right from the beginning of our project, when we were still in the planning stage of our build, Myles was fantastic to deal with. He worked hard to understand our priorities, helped us set realistic expectations, answered our questions honestly, and was always willing to give us advice but without pressuring us into a particular decision.
For the entire 12 months he was on site he was easy to deal with, and always cheerful! He never lost patience with us changing our minds constantly, or dilly-dallying over a decision. He expected good manners and courtesy from his team, and led by example. He was punctual, communicated well and shared our passion and enthusiasm for the project.
And on top of a thoroughly professional approach, and positive attitude, Myles' work was second to none. Our build was complex, using a number of challenging materials and designs, yet Myles always put quality workmanship first, happy to put in the hours to get the job right. He advocated on our behalf with sub-contractors, even when their management was outside the scope of his contract, and became a trusted ally and friend.
We couldn't recommend Myles enough to anyone considering a new build or a renovation, and he can take complete credit for the regular compliments we receive about our home".

"Myles Cosgrove is one of the most meticulous builders I have had the pleasure of working with. Myles built many of my designs – and each time he has been meticulous in the way he approaches each job. Whether it was a cardeck or a high end house overlooking the bay, his approach is always the same – careful, precise and built to the highest standards. Clients love him.
I recommend Myles so highly that my family and I asked him to complete a detailed renovation on our own home overlooking Wellington. The site was difficult and the renovation was more like a total rebuild of our home encompassing many complicated design elements but Myles and his team executed the job brilliantly. The quality of the build meant we were featured in the Dominion Post. I moved to Auckland two years ago for family reasons and have called Myles at least once a month to try and get him to move up here so we can carry on working together.
I have worked with a lot of talented (and patient) builders and Myles ranks up there at the top – I have no hesitation at all in recommending for any project – he is equally adept at building new houses or renovating existing homes – and will bring something unique to your project".
